Jose Vi is primarily a 'life' artist.   But also a qualifed art teacher & Spatial designer.    She has worked privately teaching in & around the New Forest for 15 years, but also for Brockenhurst College Adult Education, inc writing & actioning private art workshops.   She has run her own studio & Commercial Painting 'Party Plan' business for the last 4 years, sold at markets & exhibited in New Forest Galleries:   Her entire 'Witches' range was sold on & retailed in London.   Her 'Witches' paintings have also been published / used as story illustrations.  

 

She has recently re-established the unique & rare opportunity for people to learn & paint 'life' in the relaxed atmosphere of a private setting.  This is a much loved aspect of her work, that is the key essence of her 'being', & one that is sadly missed when unavailable!   Hence her passion for the new project of 'Life Painting Classes' commencing in the local Dorset / Hampshire area Sept 2011.   

 

Growing up in the 'sticks' of the Forest, Jo is hugely inspired by ALL her surroundings, textures & New Forest traditions.  Today she continues to explore the 'space' around her, and also now through the eyes of her children..  Painting eternally lifts her spirit.  On good days & bad, her work continues to balance her emotions, giving her fresh 'vision' & access to all the beauty in our world... LIFE!
